Anyone know what kind of jeep like 4×4 vehicle this is?
I saw this vehicle sold at a major dealership probably around 1998 or 1999. It was only sold in a flat black. Was a lot like a wrangler/cj 4×4. It did not have a top, just drain holes in the floor pan. Came with off road tires and was just street legal. I want to say that a Volvo dealer had them on their lot but they were not listed as a major brand like volvo. I want to say they were priced around 00 new. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I do not have any pictures. It was a new production vehicle not made by Jeep but was very similar to size and style of a wrangler. They have about 3 or 4 on their lot. Pretty sure it was not a GM product.
no it was not a major brand… and landrover defenders are not like 00 new…

Sounds like a aftermarket modification to me. Everything that Jeep comes out with has a top, and comes in any color on any other model. Also all Wranglers and Cj's have holes in the floor pan. Also Sounds like an "International, Scout", but International sold out to GM in the early 80's
A photo would be nice.
Mabey its a GMC
could be a Land Rover Defender.
