If you can find one you shouldn’t have any problems interchanging the parts. One nice thing about Chevy’s that ford never caught on too.

Chevy trucks from 67 (I believe) to 72 should interchange without a problem. The differences are mostly in the front grill and front bumpers.
Yes they are in 73 is when the body changed but the gears parts are all the same up to around 90
