Are there any hot, sporty 4X4 cars (not SUV's) out there?

I have a friend who just moved onto an ungodly hill and must have a 4X4 to get home. Hot sports and luxury cars are being sold because they won’t make it up the hill. What could they buy with 4 wheel drive, but still be snazzy?

Suzuki SX4 – low cost and nice to look at, and all wheel drive with several modes
Infinity G35X – fancy, expensive, and all wheel drive
any Mercedes with the 4Matic system
BMW 3 and 5 series with all wheel drive
Look at a Subaru WRX. Four wheel drive, lots of HP, room for four.

Get a Chrysler 300C with AWD and a Hemi. Or you could go the Porsche Carrera 4 route. I know you said no SUV’s, but what about a Jeep Cherokee SRT8? They run a 13.2 in the 1/4 mile, which is faster than the Mustang GT, Pontiac GTO, Porsche Cayanne Turbo S, and any non "M" series BMW.
The Audi Quatro TT is super hot and all wheel drive. 4×4 and AWD are similar systems, but not identical.

Audi RS4 cant be beaten..A VW R32 can be had for 50k and far better than any rice burner..

Forget your soccer mum X5′s and cayennes and get the Audi if money not an issue.
a subaru, such as a wrx which has All Wheel Drive. A mistubishi lancer evolution, also AWD. A lexus Is 300 has AWD. An Audi, either the A series or TT model with AWD. there are plenty of options. what state do you live in? I live in alaska and we have mountains covered with ice 6 months out of the year.
