people, im looking for the best off road truck. period. i dont care about the price or the quality or the on road driving, i want the best.

I hate to tell you this since you said no to hummer but it is the best, the hummer H2 is the best hands down.

dude there is no simple answer. What type of off roading? Crawlin, muddin, trails? Whats your driving style? You say you dont care about the quality or the on road driving so I dont think its a new truck you want.
every truck will have its goods and bads. Personal opinions arent going to do you much good. You need to do research.
If you want the most capable vehicle it would probably be a jeep.
If you plan on making off roading a hobby I sure wouldnt go buy a new truck.
Well unlike everyone else who said Hummer H2. The only true Hummer then can go off road thru 5 feet of water and take out small tree's, is the H1. If your looking for something just to play around on for the weekend, buy yourself a old Chevy, and take it to a Trucks R Us store, more than likely you'll be able to buy whatever you need for the kind of off roading that you want to get into. Doesn't have to be a Chevy, and truck will do just fine. =]
Best off road pickup is a Silverado Z71. Best off road SUV is a Hummer H2–if you think these are crap you obviously haven't been in one. Other good off road SUVs are an H3 or any Jeep. Sorry to disappoint you, Toyota, Honda and Nissan suck in trucks.
