Can I put a bigger tire on my truck?

I have 1999 Chevy Suburban 4×4 with no lift. Can I put tire size 285/75/R16 on it without modifications.

    what you have now and maybe …. you could try to fine the tire you like and have a test fit really not that hard …. you need four fingers of room behind the tire with the wheels turn all the way either way

    Yes. It’s probably only an inch overall of more height. I recently put 285/50R20′s on a Tahoe.
