    no,support the engine so it doesnt rock forward and remove cross member.lower transmission and t-case out as one.

    ? take out any thing it can damage when it tilts and tie it up so it wont drop and rip the mounts .

    depends on where you can pull it from, if its gonna be on the ground, pull the motor and trans. if you got a shop with a lift you dont have to remove the motor.

    no you should support the engine from moving . you may have to remove the torsion bars off the lower control arms

    I have an 85 and you don’t have to pull the motor. Make sure and support the motor. After the motor and tranny are separated I have found that if the clutch disc and pressure plate are removed you have more room to go ahead remove the tranny from under the vehicle.
