Does any one know of a place i can take my Jeep off-road in Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan?

I’m looking for a place I can take my jeep off road. I’m looking for either a club I can join that has land I can use or just some there I can go off road and not get in trouble for it.

The Mounds in Mt. Morris (FLINT) MI …dirt, mud, rocks, hills

Silver Lake Sand Dunes on Lake Michigan Shores by Muskegon offers the only dune running in the Great Lakes. Deflate to 10psi or you will be stuck.

In mid Michigan in Mio there are great wooded trails.

In northern lower Michigan you can run Drummand Island. Well worth the trip.

All of the National Forest Fire Roads are legal in northern lower Michigan.

A MI ORV sticker ($17) is required.

Below is a State of MI site with every trail in the state.

Unfortunately federal regulations have taken away a lot of access to public lands. Your best bet for local stuff would be to contact your local forest service office and ask if they have maps or can tell you areas that are still open. Here is a link to find clubs in your area (great resource).
