Can’t believe that trailer went thru all that!!!! But cool!

  11. los1950 June 12, 2011 at 5:12 pm #

this just goes to show that you dont need 3 feet of ground clearance, super lifts, and enormous tires for off road. im tired of seeing lifted red neck 4x4s

  12. zaroba June 14, 2011 at 10:48 am #

@los1950 lol, of course you don’t *need* that stuff, but it sure makes it easier to go offroad and you can traverse rougher terrain and deeper water without getting stuck as easily :p

  13. surfingjamie25 June 14, 2011 at 7:27 pm #

leave the trailer and let the tires down in the sand

@LuapIbiza Actually it’s Toyota’s 4.5L V8 Turbo Diesel, which was released here in Australia around 2007.

@zaroba Im sure if they needed this stuff these guys would use it, they are going through some of the roughest terrain I have seen. I live in San Diego, CA and I see all sorts of 4x4s with 33 inch tires, super lifts, etc etc and they all seem to be recently waxed and car washed. I have a subaru legacy with street tires and I am sure I have done more serious off roading than many of these jokers in San Diego.

  18. zaroba June 15, 2011 at 9:04 am #

well yea, there’s always people who do it just for looks, pathetic in my opinion. as for this video showing rough terrain? nah. just small mud holes and dirt roads. there is much worse out there, like long stretches of large rocks and deeper and larger mud holes. of course, i assume if he didn’t have the trailer he’d have had an easier time as well. ground clearance does play a big part in off roading, mainly to prevent bottoming out.

imagine that truck without the trailer and how crazy it would be

  20. MrPenobe June 15, 2011 at 12:53 pm #

@ghettobeats it’s only because it was being pulled by a Toyota!
