How do you unlock the child lock on a 2007 Jeep Liberty 4X4?

The instructions say unlock with a key. I’m assuming the car keys but even if that’s the case, there’s like 3 different holes on the door. Can somebody please help me out on this?
on the outer door jamb there should be a little switch. There is a sticker there telling you which position of the switch does what.
