im looking to buy a used suv with 4×4?
im looking to buy a used suv, im looking at toyota 4runners, land rover discovery, nissian xterra. please tell me the pros and cons of each one and other mechanical problems that is known to occur.

I drive a Toyota Tacoma, its been flawless, Land Rovers are not
reliable. I would choose the 4runner 1st, resale value and reliability.
Consider the xterra 2nd if you can get a steal of a deal.
Stay with the Toyota or the Nissan. Either will make a good vehicle. As much as I like the Discos, they will break you in repair bills.
Why do you want a 4×4? If you are planning on taking it off road, and doing modifications, stick with the Toyota, as aftermarket parts are more available. If you are doing all your four wheeling on a dirt road, the Nissan would be good, too.
Think about what you are doing and Please buy American.
