Is it possible to tow a 2007 Chevey Aveo 5 (2328 lbs) using a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4×4 using a car dolly?

We are moving across the country and need to ship three cars from Ohio to Washington. We plan to use the shipping company for one car but would like to tow the smaller car. Is it possible to tow a 2007 Chevey Aveo 5 (2328 lbs) using a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4×4 using a car dolly?

To rent a U-haul dolly your tow vehicle must:

Tow Vehicle Must weigh at least 750 lbs. more than the vehicle being towed Must have Class 2 tow hitch (3,500 lbs. minimum weight-carrying rating) Must have 1-7/8", 2" or 2-1/8" hitch ball (3,500 lbs. minimum) Must not exceed maximum allowable hitch ball height 25" Must have external mirrors on both sides Must have fully operational lighting
Tow dolly lighting must be operational at all times, day and night, loaded or unloaded Maximum recommended speed is 45 MPH

we tryed to rent a dolly to tow my Dad’s mustang and they wouldn’t rent us one to tow behind our Jeep cherokee. We had to rent a small moving van to get his babby down here. If you are towing with your own dolly you should be ok, but i would drive around town with it for a little wile and hit a couple good sized hills to see how your jeep will handle the passes and just take it slow!
