I hate jeeps, they are too expensive for what you get and are terrible in the winter due to a short wheelbase. Great off roaders, but not much good at anything else.

@bnsf7512 You can’t even spell (or put words in their right context), so no one should listen to you.

  16. bnsf7512 January 31, 2011 at 1:28 pm #

@TheVampyreCat ya ok how many of there do u own or drove?

  17. TheVampyreCat January 31, 2011 at 1:48 pm #

@bnsf7512 Enough. And I have heard a lot more good things about Jeeps than about any other “offroad” vehicle.
By the way you just proved my last point with your sentence.

is the 2 door with hardtop on a good daily driver and quiet on the highway?? considering getting one.

also are the back seats comfortable for two big full grown adults? im guessing with people in the back there is absolutely no room for luggage 🙁
    ??

  19. surredneck66 February 21, 2011 at 2:03 am #

@koryan my mom had a 2 door hard top i am 16 and there is verry litle room in the back for me unless the person in the front slides there seat faward it is however quiet on the highway there is not much room for luggage unless you fold the back seats up

You think a old school jeep is a good first car? like a 94. I Just want a chillen summer car that I can go to desert parties in haha

I HATE the new Jeeps!!! They are trying to make them a luxury road vehicle, witch goes against everything Jeeps are about! I would MUCH rather have an old CJ5 or older wrangler. They are doing away with the rugged flare that jeeps have, and its just sad!

it is a bastard that these cost 38k in Australia new, for the base sport model. I love Wranglers, but they are a crude vehicle and not worthy of such a high price point. Over in the US you have got it right, starting at 19k is what they should be at.
