The master cylinder and the slave in the clutch mechanism of my jeep breaks down very often. Like clockwork almost every year. I would like to know if anybody has had a similar problem and what do you think can be done about it. Thank you.

I’m thinking about buying a used truck to haul things around and go on road trips with my bike. I found a truck I might be interested in, but the seller says “the clutch and brakes work but are spongy ” Should I be scared? How much would it cost to make these repairs? Thanks!
