I just installed Goodyear Wrangler tires on all 4 wheels on my SUV. I heard that the same type of tire wears out the 4X4 drive system. Is this true?

I have a 2005 Dakota with size P265/65R17. It’s a 4X4, but I stick to the pavement pretty much. My current tires are Goodyear Forterra, and they drive nice, but they wore out pretty quick and are separrating.
