Tire help please! need assistance on off road tires!?

i have a 1995 gmc stepside 2wd 1500 reg. cab. i want to put some 60 series tires on it and some new rims. im gonna keep 15" rims but i dont know what kind of tires to get or even look at that deals with off road terrain. please help me!

    There aren't really any choices for an off road tire in a 60 series. BF Goodrich Radial T/A's in a 255/60R15 would work and they also work good in mud/snow because they're all season. If you want an off road type of tire you're going to have to bump up to a 70 series at least.
