Usually if you experience the shaking in the steering wheel only at certain speeds it’s almost always front tires are out of balance. There’s also a possibility one of the front rims may be bent or the tires ply maybe separating. Front tires out of balance usually causes the steering wheel to shake at speeds 35 mph to 55 mph. If the shaking stops after you hit 55 mph get the front tires speed balanced and the shaking will stop and your problem will be cured. Good luck and hope this helps.

Its your alignment. Get it adjusted.

check your sway bars for fracture cracking and you rear differential for uneven rotation. that could cause extreme danger for the front manifold. be careful not to adjust your struts because those are factor installed

Plugwires, or coil. Also, with your mileage, that could be a possibility. They’re recommended to be changed at around 100,000

Sounds like you need a tire balance or new tie rods or idler arm and or center link. which I’m assuming your vehicle has because it is a 98.

If you have a camper shell it could cause it to vibrate due to wind. Your camper shell could be installed at a slight angle and causing wind issues. Remove the camper shell and test drive.
