What is the biggest tire i can put on a 15 x 8 rim?

I am considering putting a body lift and a suspension lift on my truck (1997 Chevy Blazer) and getting new rims and tires.I would like to put swamper tires on it.The rims that i am considering are 15" diameter x 8" wide … what is the biggest tires i would be able to have mounted on this size rim safely?Also what body & suspension lifts are available for this 1997 Chevrolet Blazer 4×4 and where is the best place to purchase them reasonably priced? Check into Skyjacker for the kits…..I have used them and installed them for some of my customers..around $500.00 dollars.
my uncles 1996 blazer has 31-10.50 R15 on it with stock suppension they rub a little when you turn and hit a bump at the same time
