Some SUV’s are 4×4′s but not all are.
No difference. they are interchangeable
like in Australia we call them four wheel drives (4×4)
in America, they’re called SUV’s
DL is right. i think in Australia, any big family wagons like Land Cruiser etc are referred to as 4×4′s
SUV is Sport Utility Vehicle.
4×4 is any vehicle with 4 wheel drive.
A 4×4 is any vehicle with four wheel drive (it could be a pick-up truck too), whereas an SUV is a particular style of vehicle (high ground clearnace, truck-like looks, enclosed rear compartment with hatchback.
