What is wrong with my 4×4 in my Jeep Wrangler?

whenever i put it into 4 High it drives fine, until i start to turn, the car starts to jerk around. When i put it in 4 Low, the car jerks and the steering wheel starts to move and jerk around without me moving what. What could be wrong?

4×4 is for off road, mud, snow and sand. If you engage the 4×4 on flat surface it’s going to jerk. At least you know the 4×4 is working. That’s how I test the 4×4 of a vehicle I’m about to buy instead of taking it to the sand. Don’t worry it’s normal!!

It’s the nature of the beast. My ’00 Blazer does the same thing. Annoying, but it gets you out of the bad spots.

Stop using 4×4 on dry pavement. You only can use it on loose off road type roads.
