suggest acrylic or oil type , and not too thick, everything now suggest acrylic, though i'm sure oil was used in the past, as well as dyes, best get further ideas and ask around, oil would tend to blend with tanning agents, and may damage protective coating,

    acrylic

Are you happy with the basic color of it? If not first change the color using Krylon Fusion. Let cure and then paint your logo using acrylics. Finish with a good matte spray finish. There are several brands out there that have UV protection. Use several coats, dryng well in between

If you like the basic color, there is a product called J.W, Undercover. Sketch out your design, then coat the design area with the Undercover. Let cure for several days, then paint with acrylics. Let cure again, and spray with matte finish. Again, make sure you get UV protection. Use several coats, dryng well invbetween. You might like a gloss finish, but my personal opinion is that it wouldn't look as nice.
