whats the diffrence between trucks?

To me it looks like the 1999 and 2001 chevy K2500 4X4 are diffrent. Is one taller than the other or can fit larger tires? I am looking to buy and extended cab 4×4 chevy with 6.0 but I want one that I can put the biggest tires on without a lift other than the 2 inch torsion bar adjustment kit and rear blocks. I like them big but tow so cant go with a big lift can someone please tell me which one is bigger or are they the same size?

Chevy/GMC had two pickup body styles between 99 and 2001. The HD or ‘Classic’ body was the same as the previous years, back thru 1990. It has the flat hood and square front end.

The newer standard body was first sold as the Silverado 1500, and is a slightly smaller truck with a more rounded, sloped hood.

Sorry… Can’t give you any info on lifts or tire sizes.
