I am new to this stuff but I have a 04 chevy ext cab 4×4 silverado 1500 with auto trac. Will the rancho 4" lift system fit 35/13.5/18 mickey thompson mtz radial tires or just any off road mud tire and if it doesn’t or if you just would like to suggest a different lift kit which one would it be and why? and would you suggest any tires…….i dont really want the humming on the road but i want the b.a. look of the tires lol.

I would go with the 6" Racho lift a little more clearance for those 35 inch tires. But i would go with the Bf Goodrich mud tires. More grip for off roading and last longer. Thats just My suggestion
The tire having alot of tread makes no difference. Every tire manufacturer,s overall tire diameter is a little different. With that lift the 35/13.5/18 will rub a 35/12.5/18 should work fine/minor trimming possibly. What you should do however is go to or check out 4wheelparts.com they are having a sale on pro comp lifts a 6 inch would look better with some matching pro comp rubber. if u give em a call they always are willing to make deals especially if you plan on buying a lift and wheels/tires. Or go to the manufacturers website i know rancho says it’s 07up nbs silverado lift kit clears 35′s but in ( ) states up to 34.5 maximum diameter every lift kit manufacturer is different as well you have to read some of the fine print to see how much of a lift your actually getting and what size tire it clears.
i had 35s on my 99 with just a 3” body lift,,worked just fine
it will fit as long as you don’t use aftermarket rims with negative offsets.
